Project Grellin
Honorable Mention
As more Americans continue to eat out, consumers struggle to get objective information about where and what to eat if they care about their health. Project Grellin will automatically rate chain restaurant meals by applying nutritional analysis scoring to publicly available restaurant meal nutrition APIs. Based on these scores, we will compute scores per restaurant, to help guide users to healthier establishments close by. Grellin is a collaborative project involving researchers at Stanford University and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
